Our Programs

Tuesday Feeding

LFG provides a healthy, nutritious meal to around 70–90 people weekly, plus fruit and juice. Weekly cost averages $90–$130. Options: tostadas; rice and beans; noodles with hot dogs and vegetables; chicken soup with vegetables; chow mein with chicken and vegetables.

Bi-Weekly Wednesday Feedings

LFG supports a local family —  Sandra and her family — by purchasing chuchitos and juice from her. We serve an average of 60–70 people every other week, at a cost of about $115 per feeding. Each person receives two chuchitos, a banana, and juice. If you’d like to sponsor a feeding, please contact us and we’ll share the details.

Monthly Grocery Sponsorship

LFG provides supplemental groceries to families with the greatest need. Once a month, the LFG team shops for and delivers groceries, focusing on nutritious food to help children grow and stay healthy. Families are encouraged to take part in our activities, with the goal of each family being sponsored for a maximum of two years while working toward independence. Depending on family size, sponsorship options are $35, $50, or $75 per month. If you’d like to sponsor a family, please contact us.

Boys' Soccer Academy

LFG runs a soccer academy for boys in the village. The team plays in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Soccer League, competing against other ministries, building friendships, and growing in faith. Games are held the last Saturday of each month, with the league running March through November. There is currently a U12 team of 10 boys, with hopes to expand to more teams in the future. $125 funds a month of the boys’ soccer academy, including field rentals and transportation.

Weekly Activities

LFG hosts activities for village children every Thursday — sharing a Bible story, doing crafts, and playing games. These gatherings build stronger relationships with both the children and their parents. We currently average about 10 children, with hopes of growing.

Visit and Pray with Families

A core priority for LFG is visiting and praying with families. With so many families in the village, regular visits to everyone are difficult, so the team makes a point of asking parents and children how they’re doing and what needs they have. When there are special needs, LFG visits to pray with them. Prayer is powerful and life-changing, and this time together offers real hope.

“For where two or three gather in my Name, there am I with them.”
